Wii U release anticipated
Probably every gamer is anticipating the Wii U release. Wii U will be the latest addition to Nintendo’s Wii series. Even if the date of the Wii U release is still tentative for this coming 2012 holidays, lots and lots of gamers, techies and basically everyone who cares has been waiting for the Wii U release of this latest next generation, high-tech gaming console.
Despite the fact that they had announced that they were going to release the game console this 2011, disappointing many fans. This resulted in the 61% drop [in profits for Nintendo, plus 40% fall in their sales. Because of this, they had to cut down their projected sales from their other consoles. These are most likely the fatal reasons why the Wii U release was postponed until 2012.
Nintendo resident, Satoru Iwata said that Nintendo hopes that the Wii U release will be their company’s saviour. The company, Nintendo, would be expecting huge amount of profits from the Wii U release, hoping that many people would be rushing to buy the release.
A good thing though is that the Wii U release is finally out! It would be available all throughout distributors before the end of 2012 as Nintendo confirmed. Alongside the Wii U release, Nintendo will also be revealing its third quarter 2012 on a release window. Watch out people from Los Angeles! Nintendo expects the Los Angeles Wii U release to be somewhere around June 5th to 7th, which is almost 6 months earlier.
Wii U release would be all over the world, including key territories like Japan, America as well as Europe. This will be the third or fourth-quarter appearance of the Wii U gaming console.
Although a complete and finalized tech specs for the gaming console is still making gamers and fans alike wait, it still doesn’t stop them from anticipating the gaming console’s release. However, an anonymous development source suggests that Nintendo’s highly techie console is twice as awesome and powerful that it’s Sony counterpart, the Xbox 360. Some disappointments however run to the anonymous post that it would not be as powerful as some people had expected. To think that Nintendo has been a veteran in making high quality advanced gaming consoles. Because of this, more people had been really excited about the Wii U release.
Aside from the anonymous post about the expected tech specs among Wii U’s release, Nintendo showed the E3 conference that the console upon its Wii U release will be having it’s very own iPad-styled controller. Nintendo also has not confirmed any possible price for the new console. Prices would probably be announced a little time before the waited Wii U release.
Lots and lots of fans, including myself had been waiting for the successor to the popular Wii console. Whether or not the Wii U release would be a success or not is still another thing to wait for. Let’s all keep our fingers crossed that the hefty price would be worth the tech specs one is finding in a next generation console. For now, all we could do is wait and hope for the Wii U release and for the best.
