they wont sadly once the new xbox and ps3 come out everyone will just go to that and i PROMISE that it will be much better just like the xbox 360 and ps3 killed the wii
It all comes down to if the pad controller is usable. I think it’s a novelty, but if Nintendo manages to utilize the pad the wii u will sell (at a low price). I think if they are going to disregard 3rd party franchises that they should focus on developing the biggest hitters.
Once New Super Mario Bros 2 and the inevitable Mario kart games come out it will sell. The Wii had those two games in the top 10 in sales for like weeks when they released. However I think it will be behind Sony’s and Microsoft’s next console in terms of power and types of games. I don’t think I’ll be getting this.
Seriously? Why would you say Wii U will fail? I think that it is pretty much good in my opinion. Nintendo is certainly trying to win the hardcore gamers, please just give them a chance.
If zelda goes to capcom they are going to ruin it. if capcom cant keep up with say megaman then they wont with zelda. microsoft hell no i would rather die then see a zelda on a xbox. Sony maybe and thats because they can do action and adventure games pretty good. take a look at god of war
…or maybe they’ll learn from their past mistakes and change their style. Given how much they stressed third party support at last year’s E3, it looks likely that they’ll improve their marketing and third party policies. Don’t write them out yet, Nintendo’s still going strong.
If Nintendo didn’t try new things with Zelda, the series would stagnate. Nintendo took a risk, and while you may not agree with some of the results, the games you mentioned do have fans and are considered by many to be good in their own right. You always have TP and OOT 3D, and the next Zelda game will likely follow their visual style. If you don’t like Zeldas that deviate from the OOT style, that’s fine, but Zelda is far from dead.

They’re certainly giving Nintendo stiff competition, and competition inspires higher quality games. Nintendo isn’t going anywhere, like it or not.
